About

Hey, my name is Chipp. I am jack of all trades and how-to guru. My true strengths lie in research and comparative testing. People come to me for advice and I really enjoy helping them solve their problems. (I do this stuff for fun anyway so if I can help a few folks along the way that is awesome!). I consider myself the luckiest person on Earth. I don’t drive a fancy car and I don’t make a lot of money. What I do have is two amazing children, a loving family and a job that I really enjoy.

The Story Behind ChippTips

I have always enjoyed learning things and tackling new projects. I take everyday problems and I use a scientific approach to find the best solutions.  Over the years I had become the “go to guy” with my family, friends and neighbors when a problem would arise. I didn’t start out as an expert in any of these fields. I simply used my background and skills in research and comparative testing to tackle each issue and pass the knowledge along. I enjoy the research process and learning new things. But what I enjoy the most is helping other people. So I decided to start documenting my research and ChippTips.com was born.

Besides, there is a ton of JUNK on the internet and you can’t trust everything that you read. The cream doesn’t always rise to the top of Google search results. There is way too much misinformation out there.  I decided to become a one man wrecking crew on a mission to set the record straight! Every week I tackle a new problem. I conduct research, consult experts, test products and filter through all the garbage and misinformation. In the end, I provide a summary of my findings in a short, entertaining summary that gets right to the point without any filler or fluff.

Please understand:

I am not an certified expert in any of these fields. HOWEVER, I do work very hard to research and verify all of the information that I publish. I also consult with experts on a regular basis. I use real life case studies and only make recommendations after I have gone through the experience myself.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to see you on the blog sometime soon!

Cheers!
